Send & Receive

Sending Tokens

You can send CC, USDCx, or cBTC to anyone on Canton Network.

How to Send

  1. Open the wallet and tap Send
  2. Enter the recipient - you can use:
    • Telegram username (e.g., @alice)
    • Canton Party ID (full address)
  3. Enter the amount and select the token
  4. Confirm with your PIN
  5. Transaction settles in under one second

The easiest way to send tokens is using a Telegram username. If the recipient has a CC Bot Wallet, just type their @username and the wallet will automatically resolve it to their Canton address.

  • No need to copy/paste long addresses
  • Works for any CC Bot Wallet user on Telegram
  • The recipient gets a notification in Telegram instantly

Transfer Methods

CC Bot Wallet supports two transfer methods:

  • 1-Step Transfer - Uses a TransferPreapproval contract. The recipient automatically receives tokens without manual approval. This is the default.
  • 2-Step Transfer - Recipient must manually accept the incoming transfer. Used when preapproval is not set up.

You can toggle between these in Settings > Preferences.
