What is CC Bot Wallet?
CC Bot Wallet is a self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet built as a Telegram Mini App on the Canton Network. It lets you send, receive, swap, and bridge tokens directly within Telegram.
Is CC Bot Wallet free to use?
Yes. The wallet is free. You only pay standard network fees when making transactions.
Which blockchain does it use?
CC Bot Wallet is built on the Canton Network, a privacy-enabled blockchain with sub-second finality, designed for institutional-grade security.
What tokens are supported?
Canton Coin (CC), USDCx (bridged USDC stablecoin), and cBTC (Bitcoin on Canton). You can also bridge USDC from Ethereum.
Security
How does Shamir Secret Sharing work?
Your private key is split into three shares: one on your device (encrypted with PIN), one on our server (encrypted), and a recovery code. Any two shares can reconstruct the key. No single share alone can access your funds.
Can the CC Bot team access my funds?
No. We only hold one encrypted share. Without a second share from your device or recovery code, it is mathematically impossible to reconstruct the signing key.
What happens if I lose my phone?
You can recover your wallet using your recovery code combined with the server share, meeting the 2-of-3 threshold needed to reconstruct your key.
What encryption is used?
AES-256-GCM for key share encryption and HKDF-SHA256 for key derivation. All based on audited @noble cryptography libraries.
Transfers
How do I send tokens?
Use the Send command and enter the recipient's Telegram username or Canton address. Confirm with your PIN. The transaction settles in under one second.
How do I bridge from Ethereum?
CC Bot Wallet supports cross-chain bridging via Circle xReserve. You can bridge USDC from Ethereum to Canton Network as USDCx directly within the wallet.
AI Agent
What is the AI Agent?
A built-in AI assistant that helps you manage your wallet through natural language. Check balances, send tokens, swap, and more by typing what you want.
Can the AI Agent access my keys?
No. The AI Agent only processes text commands via the wallet API. It never has access to your private keys, PIN, or key shares.
Troubleshooting
My transaction is pending
Transactions on Canton Network typically confirm within one second. If pending, check your internet connection or refresh the app.
I forgot my PIN
Use your recovery code to reset your PIN. Go to Settings and select "Reset PIN". After 5 failed attempts, the wallet locks for 15 minutes.
